Labour's Racist Agenda

So the mask has finally slipped and Labour have come clean, they are what many of us have always known them to be, Institutionally Racist.

NI35 Document has many parallels with dictates issued by Hitlers Nazi’s during the 1930’s regarding the targeting of Jews and Reading Conservative Cllr Chowdhary is rightly worried when a document such as this goes hand in hand with funding and falls into the remit of willing local servants.

To the best of my knowledge, the Muslim community in Reading represent the moderate face of Islam, with many of it’s members playing leading roles in local business and public life.

Be assured that execution of the actions recommended in this document will only serve to create the very environment that they purport to prevent.

The problem that we face here in Reading is that in the ruling Labour Group, we have a body without the political spine to stand up to their lords & masters in Westminster and prevent the execution of this odious document.

That duty now falls to Cllr Chowdhary & his colleagues and we can only hope they are successful.

Time to Call Time on Enterprise Inn's

I was very sad to hear that the Jolly Anglers Pub on the River Kennet in Newtown is to close. Particularly as a result of apparent shear greed on the part of its Brewery owners.

The Jolly Anglers is more that just a run of the mill Pub, it acts as a real community hub in Newtown and is also a popular spot for many in the Reading due to it’s fine selection of real ale.

Perhaps, Enterprise Inn’s would think twice about damaging our local communities if they faced having all of their licenses in Reading revoked by the Council.

Any of our local councilors prepared to grasp the nettle?????

Hogwharts Comes To Reading West

I couldn’t help thinking that I had seen the character in one of the Reading Pravda Video interviews somewhere before.

The tag line told me that it was an interview with Reading West’s new Labour parliamentary candidate, but after watching, I honestly thought that it was some sort of clip with one of those failed contestants on Britain’s Got Talent, who had been given his marching orders by Simon Cowell.

But then it all fell into place, I had seen this guy before. It was Dobby the House Elf from the Harry Potter movies.

Basically, he turns up totally unwanted, screws everything up, then at the first sign of trouble disappears.

Just keep living & breathing Alok, for god’s sake.

The Cradle Of Democracy?

Like many of you, I have been watching the public outrage manifest itself in massive street demonstrations following the hotly disputed elections in Iran.

If you believe the propaganda in the British Press, Iran is supposed to be a violently suppressed society hell bent on supporting terrorism. Having been fortunate enough to visit Tehran during the Rafsanjani Government some years ago, I know that this impression is misguided and the current demonstrations give lie to the western generated media.

Hence, they have a President who the people believe was returned to office as a result of electoral fraud and are not having any of it. They are taking to the street and challenging the establishment.

We have a Prime Minister who has never been elected, presided over the biggest scandal involving this country’s Parliament. and brought us to the brink of economic disaster. And what are we doing about it???

A simple question, who lives in a democracy and who has a greater interest in their political future? Makes you think doesn’t it…..

Reading Job's For Reading Workers

So, after a good number of years, Britain’s biggest rabbit sanctuary finally has the chance of housing a major corporate HQ. The purpose, as I understand it, for which it was built.

If you believe our friends at the Reading Pravda, Green Park is one of the potential locations for the new ICI HQ, with both Slough & Bracknell also in the running.

I think it hardly needs me to say that getting ICI to move to Reading would create badly needed jobs in the area after so many high profile firms have either moved away or downsized in recent years.

But interestingly enough the Pravda give no details as to what anybody in RBC is doing to maximize the chances of securing ICI for Reading. I know that it is a little removed from attracting the unemployed who will vote Labour, but for those of us who want to see this town thrive it’s kind of important!

Sounds like a job for Rob Wilson & Andrew Cumpsty…

One Hand Tied Behind Their Back

I read with some concern in the Reading Pravda that nearly 40% of criminal offences committed in Reading were done so by people on already on Police bail for another offence.

From what our local Superintendent Steve Kirk said, the majority were committed by a well known hard core group of offenders to whom arrest matters little.

Hence, I have to ask the question why our Magistrates are letting down the local community in this way, by not locking these people up?

As a Senior Police Officer, Supt Kirk is obviously prevented from saying in plain words what he clearly feels if one reads between the lines of the diplomatically worded quotations in the article.

Basically, that the PC driven social do-gooders that pollute our Magistrates Courts are doing nothing to support the Police in reducing crime. In fact they are one of the primary causes of its perpetuation.

There you are Steve, I’ve said it for you, I know you can’t agree publicly but at least you know that you do have some supporters.

If our Chief of Police has identified a core group of offenders who are responsible for the vast majority of 40% of the crime committed in this area, a zero tolerance policy should be adopted by all concerned agencies:

Magistrates should do there job & send them to Jail, bail should never be an option for recidivists regardless of the offence.

In the case of recidivist offenders, get Social Services out of the picture, we are not interested in mitigating circumstances. They are criminals and need to be taken out of circulation until such time as they realize that crime does not pay.

If they are on any form of state handout (as many of them are ) stop it. Give them a simple message, get an honest job, commit a crime & go to jail, or starve. Believe me they will soon see which way the wind is blowing.

As they say in Monopoly, ‘Go to jail, go straight to jail, do not pass go, do not collect £200.’

My Home Is My Castle

According to today’s, Reading Pravda Web page, it would seem that our little red friends down at Redinski Square have extracted £1.6 Million from their comrades & masters in Westminster so as the borough housing stock can be improved.

If you believe the publicity in the Pravda ( which I don’t ) this little scam is going to create 23 jobs and the money will be used as follows:

£270,000 – Electrical Checks
( Whatever that means )

£600,000 – Kitchen & Bathroom Improvements
( As a Council Tax payer of some 10 years standing is there any chance I can have mine done? No, thought not. )

£240,000 – Central Heating
( Do we really have council houses without central heating )

£200,000 – Home Insulation

£256,000 – Home Improvements for the disabled.

Now a few questions.

Why should this money only be available to people who live in council property, any home improvement funds should be available to all.

If this money is to be spent on council property, can we ensure that priority is given to tenants who are either registered disabled, pensioners or those in employment. Reading‘s “cant work won’t work” collection of Labour voters should be last in the queue.

Finally, RBC gets £1.6 Million, by my calculations £1,566,000 is accounted for in the budget. So what is happening to the remaining £34,000? Or shouldn’t we ask.

Europe - Are They Getting The Message ?

It may seem a little obvious to some of you, but the British People have tried to send all of the Political Parties a message through the ballot box last night:

I am not talking about the fact they are disgusted by the MPs expenses scandal, or that this present Labour Government has gone past its sell by date. We know that indeed.

The real message which people in this country, have been trying to get across for some time is simply that they object to our current direction of travel on Europe and expect our politicians to do something about it.

I will not dwell on the European policies of the present Government or their refusal to live up to their pledge and give the British people a voice over the Lisbon Treaty.

The European baton has now been passed to David Cameron, who unlike Nigel Farage or the utterly objectionable Nick Griffin, will become the next Prime Minister. He must accept that Europe is an important issue and simply not talking about it is not an option.

The European, elections have proved that the Conservatives have got a policy which the people of this country support:

‘In Europe but not Governed by Europe.’

Cameron must pursue this course with vigour and not be dissuaded by those in his party who would beg to differ.

Reading - The Caring Council

Once again the true face of Labour is reflected in the policies of Reading borough Council.

As I am sure many of you read, gleefully reported in the Reading Pravda of 4th June, rather than give support to a woman so blighted with HIV that it effects her brain functions causing severe disabilities, our heroes in Redinski Square decide to hide behind the law in a quest to save money and absolve themselves from their duty of care to a disabled person in this borough.

‘A one off case,’ I hear you say.

Not a bit of it, when it comes to members of our community with disabilities, RBC keeps our learned friends very busy. I for one would love to see how much they are spending every year on ensuring that our most vulnerable citizens do not get the care to which that are entitled based on a point of Law.

‘We haven’t got the budget,’ comes the cry.

Of course they haven’t got the budget, it’s all spent of housing & supporting the 'can’t work, won’t work,' brigade.

But they vote Labour, don’t they!

Cometh The Hour, Cometh The Man

With today’s incredible local Government election results and Cabinet Ministers deserting the Government like rats from the sinking ship. The time has come for opposition parties locally to act.

I see no reason the good people of Reading not to join the rest of the country in it’s universal rejection of socialism. I would therefore call on the leaders of the Conservative and Liberal groups to propose & second a motion at the next full Council meeting which dissolves the present Council and brings forward the Local Government elections to this Autumn.

It's Over For Labour

The letter from James Purnell said it all, but I think I could have penned a slightly shorter version signed by the whole country:

‘IN THE NAME OF GOD, GO .’ as Cromwell said

There is no doubt that this Labour government is on its knees and I predict that an Autumn election is now very much on the cards.

Locally, this is having a profound effect on our little red friends down at Redinski Square. They are acutely aware, that from the point of view of the electorate they are looking like the last of the Dinosaurs, now choking on the poisonous gases of the wretched little world that they created.

Unfortunately, the local elections scheduled for next May cannot be bought forward and so this most loathsome example of a Socialist Council will be with us for a few months to come.

But the message to Jo Lovelock & company is the same as to Gordon Brown:

‘ IN THE NAME OF GOD, GO.’
